Short Description: improve the resilience of the built environment in the face of climate change and also protect the wellbeing of communities through targeted policy initiatives and better urban and building design, ensure appropriate institutional arrangements facilitating adaptation, realise economic benefits from early adaptation through effective strategic planning and risk minimisation, advances sustainability through better resource and risk management strategies, and increases community education and awareness about climate change risks and adaptation

Stakeholder Comment: At this stage, the municipality has identified and included in the SEACAP a series of actions on adaptation that were nevertheless difficult to monetize. This doesn’t affect the city’s commitment to work on them and pursue all necessary studies and actions for this implementation.
